Dorothy Boswell
I offer parenting sessions to individuals and couples by phone in the
United Kingdom, and internationally by skype, as well as running groups
and presenting workshops in the London area.

I have worked in schools in some of London’s most deprived boroughs, as
well as the offices of international law firms and investment
companies. I have written and presented workshops and courses for
churches, Sure Start projects, parents of children on the autism
spectrum, recovering drug users and Youth Offending Teams.

I studied education at Goldsmiths’ College, London and have taught
children and adults of all ages, as well as teenagers with learning and
behavioural difficulties.

After enrolling on a parenting course when my son was four years old, I
trained as a facilitator with the national charity Parentline Plus and
later as a life coach with the Coaching Academy.

I was editor of Kids Out, a magazine for London parents, and I have
written for The Guardian and Marie Clare, and appeared on BBC radio
talking about family issues.

I have been a telephone counsellor for the charity Childline and a
volunteer youth mentor to teenagers sailing with the Tall Ships Trust.

Last, but not least, I am the mother of a teenaged son.
